Made with Braucol, Duras and Merlot grapes, this wine is traditionally vinified then aged in oak casks to better express all its aromatic potential.
Through its architecture, we estimate that the Château d’Escabes was built in the 17th century. The South tower dates back to 1665. In the 17th century, the castle belonged to the Lantaniac family, the first noble family from Lisle-sur-Tarn. After a fire in 1989, the estate was entirely overhauled and today the vines cover 56 hectares. This wine draws its origins from a combination of an exceptional terroir, grapes typical of the Gaillac area and the expertise of Vinovalie’s teams. A noble wine prepared with great care under the careful eye of our Cellar Master Thierry Serrus.
A deep ruby colour. The bouquet is powerful with red berries, spice, smokiness and vanilla. The attack is smooth and flexible and on the palate the wine is creamy with silky tannins.
